Working with the New Moon and partial Solar Eclipse 29th March 2025 10.57 GMT

This New Moon is the first in the 2025-2026 Lunar Zodiac as it falls in Aries. It is also a partial Solar Eclipse, the last of the Aries Eclipses that started in 2023.

So it marks a new year, and the time for new beginnings and planning.

We usually make our New Year Resolutions at the beginning of January, though this is a man made construct. Over the millenia the "New Year" has moved around as Emperors and Kings made decisions. We could say that the Zodiac is man made - but the planets, stars and our Sun have been making connections long before humans arrived on this earth.

I see this time as my personal development and inner growth new year, and decisions I make now are deeper and tied to self knowledge, purpose and spiritual connections. Maybe you could do the same?

A Solar Eclipse is the time when the Moon passes in front of the Sun, blocking its light to the Earth. The Sun represents the outer world of society and our relationships with others. the Moon represents the inner world of our emotions, and spirit. This means that an Eclipse is the time to let the inner world take precedence over the outer world for a while as we go within to find our new way forward and discover what is truly important to us.

As it is a partial Eclipse we need to see the interplay between the two worlds of inner and outer to find a true balance that reflects and honours our deepest needs and dreams with the honest self knowledge of our strengths and weaknesse so that we can find the way that fits us best and is achievable.

Working through the Lunar Zodiac from an inner growth perspective provides a roadmap to work through all the Zodiac signs, using the phases to structure how you work with each sign. Each sign falls in each of the phases, giving a rounded and structured view of yourself and how you deal with the world and your personality, culture, upbringing and conditioning.

It doesn't matter where the planets were on your birth horoscope; they all affect you whether positively or negatively and by working with this system you can transform yourself and use either type of energy for growth and self knowledge.

Aries is the sign of the pioneer who goes into the unknown, carves a trail for others to follow and creates new ways of doing, being or thinking. Take some time to think about where you go from here, how you could remove the things that are no longer working for you, what it is that you really want to do, or maybe should you start on a long held dream that you have never had the strength or bravery to begin?

Look at how you can carve your new path, bring your deepest dreams into being and start to purposefully rebuild yourself into the person you truly are and embody it as you should have been.

Look for ways you can improve your knowledge and skills to improve your success and deepen your self confidence.
