Working with the First Quarter Moon in Libra - again! 20th July 2026 12.05 BST

We have a second First Quarter Moon in Libra this month, the same sign as last month.

This happens because the Solar year has 52 weeks, whereas the Moon's total of 4 phases in 12 signs is 48 weeks so there are some duplications dotted through the year.

We do not see the same repetitions every year, so we get the chance over many years to work with each Moon Phase in each sign twice in a row.

This month we get the chance to double down on the work we started on the previous First Quarter on June 21st. If you have been journalling your work on the phases you can go back and see where you put your focus and reflect on how that has come through to now.
